Shopping for bras

ORIGINAL POST

Sorry if this has been asked before, but I'm looking for shops that sell good quality, decently priced bras for my size in Hong Kong.

My size is 34DD (UK size). I prefer lightly lined/padded bras though (for comfort, because my skin is sensitive to friction), so I'm actually looking for shops that sell bras up to an E-cup (and beyond, haha).

Thanks for answering!

PS: I don't want to buy online. I like trying stuff on before I buy them, and I'm especially adamant about this when it comes to bras, so only stores that are physically located in Hong Kong please. Thank you!

PSS: I would squeal in glee if these same shops also had swimsuits for women with fairly large breasts. Not needed, of course, but it'd be pretty awesome to finally have a swimsuit that supported my boobs...

HI,

I know you said you don't like online - but there is a great website called www.bravissimo.com that does underwear and swimwear and sportsbras. in all different brand names that you might consider in the future.

Their sister website even does clothes for specific bra sizes and I think they are called Pepperberry or something like it.

Bravissimo have shops all over the UK - so if you ever go there for a holiday - get a private free fitting done /buy stuff there and then and going forward you will know what size to order for overseas delivery if you can't findanything in HK.

I have been doing this for at least 10 years now and it is the easiest solution I have found so far.

Hope this helps

Hello,

I am a 32D. Here is where I buy my bras and bikinis:

La Perla (in Lane Crawford and IFC)

Marks and Spencer

Simone Perele (top of Graham Street)

Ozzie Cozzie - great bikinis!

Best of luck

Thank you both for your fast replies! :)

I'll definitely take a look at Bravissimo one day. Just took a quick peek at the website and was shocked by the variety of things that they had! But first, I'll explore the options that are already in Hong Kong. Saves me the shipping and/or return costs, haha.

And thank you Ginni for your recommendation of shops. I'll take a look at all of them! (Except for M&S. Already took a look at them. For some reason, their bras really chafe at my skin, and I have no idea why... so I'd like to avoid them.)
