Hello Everyone, i am a banker by profession and moved to Hong Kong last month on a dependent visa status. I worked for seven years, in an Indian local bank as a Manager Accounts for three years & as the Relationship Manager for the four years.
I look forward for your worthy guidance to start the career as a banker in Hong Kong. I am keen to know that,
a) From which position you suggest should I start ?
b) How much salary should i ask for as expected/offer salary?
c) Will employer's in HK also reimburse/compensate the housing rents or not?
Regard's

Best thing to do is send your CV to one of the many HK headhunters - eg Hays, Hudson, Robert Walters, Michael Page... You should phone them, introduce yourself and get a contact information, email your CV and follow up a few days later. Also helps if you explain your career background, HK visa status and what you are looking for. If you don't have your HKID card yet then wait until you have it. Good luck!
