I want to set up a UK Government recognised trust in an approved jurisdiction. I believe Hong Kong is one such place. How do I go about it? Do I need a lawyer or an Accountant? Advice would be much appreciated.

There are different kinds of trusts which are recognized by the UK. In selecting the type of trust to set up, the settlor (i.e. the person establishing the trust) should consider the level of tax efficiency to be achieved by each type of trusts and how well the trusts fit with the circumstances and objectives of the settlor and the ultimate beneficiaries. We have years of experience establishing trusts in different jurisdictions for international clients. We suggest that you come to our office for further discussion, at a reduced consultation fee of HKD3,000.
