A friend of mine is interested in moving to HK and he is an enthusiast in musical and cultural events. It's a bit rare for me to look for such activities during my working holiday last year in HK. So should I just tell him this is not an ideal place for him??

There's lots going on in HK - orchestral, dance, art, rock/pop.

A simple Google search will reveal...https://www.google.com/search?q=arts+hong+kong&rlz=1C1AVNC_enHK598HK604&oq=arts+hong+kong&aqs=chrome..69i57.5086j0j1&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8

I'm afraid I have to disagree with your opinion. You can simply go to Art Centre or browse the hkticketing website, there's a load of choices, musical, drama, dance performances that you can choose from. Just wonder why you have such kind of thought...

Indeed, there's actually many activities perform in HK, just depends whether you are interested in it. For me, I just bought tickets of Sound of Music Musical and I believe my kids will gonna love it!

To be honest, I think most of the audience like you and me would also sing along when the favourite hits tune in, haha!

I guess my kids would also sing along cuz I always play this movie soundtrack at home.
They know those songs so well!
