Moved to Mui Wo for some time. Love the place and the water buffalo yet have a strange feeling about the people in here. Got verbally abused in Wellcome and Fusion while shopping. Two women and some guys even followed me and verbally abuse me. Could someone, who are present residents or previous residents, please explain to me why?

Occam's Razor suggests that you might have needed verbally abusing. Have you discounted that possibility?

Yes - this is exactly what I teach my kids. Not 'blame the victim" (that would be mean) but 'when you find yourself in the midst of a conflict, look to yourself first'.
You maintain you're a victim here, but offer no evidence to support that. Being verbally abused is not evidence that you've been victimized. When I have been verbally abused in the past I have almost always deserved every syllable. It was a sensible question and I'll rephrase it: did you do something that warranted the 'abuse'?
If you would like a rational explanation from others here, offer a little more background information and you may get what you seek.

What happened; some locals just started attacking you verbally ?.
Totally not OK of-course but cant represent general people there or ?.
