Both my Australian and NZ licences have expired!!! Does anyone know the application process for a HK licence? Specifically, is there a probationary period or minimum hours driving time to qualify for a full licence? Also, do I need an instructor with me to pass the test? I'd prefer to sit the test here as I need to drive 75 hours before I can get a full licence in Australia which is almost impossible to complete on holidays and visits to Australia. But not sure if it's the same procedure here.

I think if the license is expired for less than a year you can present it at the DMV and get a HK license
