Hi, does anyone know of a good man with a van service that charges reasonaby for moving service as well. I had wanted to purchase a serving hand wardrobe from the classified Asia expat ads but when I checked on go go van and another man with a van service that advertised on this site, the quote came to >$1,000 to move within HK island. Naturally it didn't make sense to but the wardrobe due to the moving cost...

I did try. Quote including of moving services for a 2-door wardrobe was above HKD1k. Just wondering if there are cheaper options... I'm guessing there must be since big items are being bought from the classifieds all the time.

Why do you think the price (of the wardrobe) was so cheap?
It's a great opportunity - a sort of arbitrage - if you can buy at a cheap price from neighbor
