My husband is being transferred to the Hong Kong office and we are moving from the U.S. to Hong Kong this January 2016. We have 2 young girls one will be in first grade and we don't know where she will go to school yet. The South side of the island seems like it will be the best fit for us. Wondering if housing allowance of 90,000HK per month is enough for a reasonable 3 bedroom in Repulse Bay or Stanley. Our relo specialist didn't seem to think we would be able to afford these areas with this allowance. Is this correct? I know these areas are quite expensive but hoping we can sacrifice on size to be in a nice area by the beach. Thanks in advance for any advice/tips!

Well, I think you might like University area(KCR Station) or even some nice estates that are on the road between Tai Po and Tai Mei Tuk.
And the budget that you have is good enough.
