Dear everyone,

I would appreciate your comments on my sitauation since no suhc case have been found on a web.

Im a student, wishing to bring wife as dependant. From reading posts, I got really scarred about that since it seems that we may not satisfy many conditions due to HK minimum standarts. However, everyone knows that you can live the same live as other people do with much lower expenses,, and it is the way we do. We are a kind of young vegan family, enviro-friendy wuth no bad habbits. We do not attent clubs, expensive shows etc etc. We cook by ourselves (partially because its cheaper but mostly because we are vegetarians and because in our country it is a tradition to cook food since street food is not well developed and not cheap, therefore we connect going out only to some occasions.). On saved money we love to fly and travel to other countries. in HK we only buy things which are required daily (food or other first need). Everything elese we order in advance in big parcel from China which is from 3 to 6 times cheaper (starting from wet tissues, ending with lother and home appliences). I know some people who live for 20k per month, and they cannot save for travel abroad. I personally live for 700 hkd for food, 300 hkd for other expenses, 1500 hkd for university hall. Thats it. We tried to live together in HK before already, and spent like no more than 2000 for everything (food + other) excluding accommodation. It is the way we live not because we cannot live better. We simply hate wasting. We recycle. We avoid transportation (bycacles instead). And we still never restrict ourselves, even for the money I told.

So, sorry for a huge intro. it is for you to better understand my situation. im really worriedsi

5. if we show that our place cost 5k with utelities, will othr 10k/month eonugh for two to show? (11k / month from savings and 4k from scholarship).

6. is it difficult for students to get dependant visa for spouse?

7. how old bank statements should be?

8. how ot convince immi that we only need 7k/month, but show 10-15?

9. i checked poverty line for family of 2. it is 11k. will therefore 15 be enough if we present that out flat is 5k? (by saving on housing, we spend more on other staff)

10. how to explain to immi our non0wasting lifestyle? and that we need lee that others/ or do they have some strict frames and money ranges from what they make decisions? because since we both cannot work (she cannot. i can, but no jobs are offered at uni, only few with 0 chance to get it), statement are our only force. so most important question: can that be joint?

11. can immi check an account?in my country? because since there is nothing like *i allow to collect my data* in app form, and in such case my country policy will not allow them to access my info. also, if a make statement at hsbc and make statement and then withdrawal and make statement in other banks, will they be able to check it?

12. can immi check any debt taken in hk? anyway i dont use debts or fake statements, just interestiong. i will maybe ,use lol)

thank you very much for replies.!
