Hello everybody,

I am Hong Kong Chinese (holding BN(O) and HKSAR passport), my boyfriend is french and I am giving birth in Hong Kong. I would like to know if

1. our baby will have HK citizenship ( Can hold HKSAR passport) , and

2. could we get a french passport for the baby even if we're not married?

1) yes he will get HK citizenship

2) not sure, unless france recognize such relationships, your boyfriend should know.

you may want to explore if the kid getting born in france might help.
