Hi
I was born in the uk but I'm of Chinese origin. Both my parents are chinese and they have dual nationality. I wish to have a dual nationality like my parents.
Is this still possible?
Regards
Gordon

You can possibly apply for Hong Kong passport if your parents are both holding a Hong Kong passport. However if your parents are holding PRC passport unfortunately mainland china are not accepting dual nationality. Hope it helps x

Question is; why would you want it? You can possibly attain permanent resident status either immediately or after 7 years of living in HK.
Since PRC doesn't recognise dual nationality, most Brits holding HKSAR passports got the SAR one first and declared that, at the time, they did not have another passport.
In your situation, you may have to give up your British passport to get the HKSAR one, which most people wouldn't want to do.
Call/email immigration; they're very helpful.
