Ladyship v Vitamix blender experiences

please can you tell me about your ladyship ownership. l have 2 models, LVT866 bought on 14june 14, the motor still working fine but my older model, LS-658 bought on 11JULY11, had its motor replaced twice, after its initial 2+ year of service. the first replacement motor had a 3 month warranty, it lasted only 2 months and the the second motor replacement, came with an unexplained reduced one month warranty, lasted only 2 weeks, or 2 juicing sessions. if l was blending gravel or stone, it'd be understandable, but it was only vegetables and fruit, the hardest being probably chopped beetroot.
Do you think the motor was replaced by an old motor? What can be done to complain about the two motor replacements?contact the Consumer Council?
also does your ladyship sometimes have stressed out motor smells, ie a burnt plastic smell when motor is running, usually it is blending lots of vegetables. I do regret not buying a vitamix blender, It is almost twice the price of my LVT866 but l am sure it has a stronger motor, doesnt give off a common burnt plastic smell when vegetables are blended and it does come with a life time warranty.
