I work in Shenzhen Futian, I am considering renting a flat in Taipo New territories and commuting will I have challenges going through HK customs if I have a Chinese visa and no HKID card?

Hi,

Strange no one replied so far.

1.If no HKID how you cN come back to HK everyday .?
2. Entering china everyday on passport everyday , lot of hassles.

I think it is not a good plan and will not work out. Better stay in china.

At the moment I go to HK twice a week, I use my U.S. passport.

twice a week for return daily may be considered more of a business visit if you have a China Work permit, but daily up/down will raise questions.
