Uber X Survey

Hello everyone! I am an IB student in Hong Kong, and I am currently undergoing my Economics Extended Essay Research, where I am investigating "to what extent is Uber X a superior substitute to traditional taxis in Hong Kong?" In order to write this essay, I need to conduct research on the market of Uber. May people please take the time to answer these questions for my research? Thank you. The questions are as follows:


1. Have you heard of Uber, and are you familiar with the services they provide?

2. Do you currently use Uber X?

3. If taxi fares became 10% lower than Uber X fares, would you be more inclined to take Taxis over Uber X?

4. If taxi fares became 50% lower than Uber X fares, would you be more inclined to take Taxis over Uber X?

5. If Uber X fares became 10% higher than taxi fares, would you still be more inclined to take Uber X over taxis?

6. If Uber X fares became 50% higher than taxi fares, would you still be more inclined to take Uber X over taxis?

7. Do you feel that Uber X is more convenient than taxis? Why so?

8.If you choose to use taxis over Uber X, why do you choose to do this? (considering Uber X is cheaper than taxis for distances longer than 1 km)
