Hi all, I'm looking for a good Mandarin teacher, preferably in Sai Kung area.

I am aware of the fact that most teachers in HK are simply sub-par. As in they waste most of the time in the lesson to things like conversation in English or otherwise make poor use of the time.

I'm looking fro someone who can teach me Mandarin in Beijing accent too. And preferably not just the language for conversation, but professional business language too.

As I am looking to learn Mandarin in 6 months, it would be very helpful to have a teacher who can teach fast and accurately. I have noticed that SK has some language schools, but they don't seem to be of a proper quality, at least at first glance.

I'm not sure whether this is too late.. but.. I'm a native mandarin speaker with a postgraduate degree in Arts. I'm from Northern China, my hometown is one-hour's driving from Beijing. I know Beijing dialect and slangs well. I'm seeking for a part-time job as a mandarin teacher. I think I could help you, and I will try my best to help.

If you're in Sai Kung, find a way to put the offer on a notice board at UST. Many of the Mainland students make excellent teachers and you'll find there are many from BJ studying there. I wouldn't ask a business major though, as they are very shrewd negotiators!
