Hi folks,
I am an Indian student who just moved to HK and is living in Central with another Indian who's working in consultancy. We had a third flatmate who had a medical emergency and had to fly back and is now saying he won't return. We have a pretty cheap semi-furnished room for $6K and a bigger one for $7K but we just are not getting suitable responses. I am posting it here on AsiaExpat too but I'm really worried as we just have a week or so left until me and the other guy have to pay for the 3 bedroom apartment on our own. The stress is really eating me inside out and I can't focus on my master's programme. A part of me thinks it could be implicitly because of discrimination/preferential bias but the pool of fellow south Asians don't seem to want to stay in Central and prefer living elsewhere.
