Bedside Table Lamp Repair

We have a bedside table lamp that has broken - possibly it is as simple as that the fuse has gone but I am no expert. We live in Mid Levels. I know there is a street in Sham Shui Po (Apliu Street) where you can apparently get electronics fixed, however I am just wondering if there is anywhere closer that it will be more easy for me to take the light to in order for it to be fixed. It's quite heavy and cumbersome to take across town on public transport and I would expect if one were to take taxis then it would end up costing more to repair than I paid for it!

Any thoughts/ suggestions appreciated :)
