Hi. We just moved into an apartment and found out that renovation on the building will start soon. None of this was ever mentioned to us by our agent or landlord. We feel misled. Do we have any legal recourse as tenants?

Agents usually advise prior to engaging into a contract.

Thanks. Agent said he didn't know but we don't have it in writing, so as cookie09 said, we have no legal recourse. Heads up to everyone moving into a building, ask about any building renovations and be sure to get it in writing.
