Hi everyone!
My boyfriend lived in Hk on holiday working visa for an year. He has an ID card. He still keeps it. However he's moving back to Hk in Oct and he will apply a spouse visa after we get married. Meanwhile is the ID card effective or not? Or does he have to re apply another ID card once the visa is granted?

He dont need to apply another ID. However, his ID card is no longer active at the moment. It will be activated once he enters HK using a spouse visa. When you fill up the form, remember to put his HKID #.
