Rainbow - Cheerios are breakfast cereals that are small in circle shape. They are made by General Mills in the US. You can find Cheerios everywhere here (Park N Shop, etc.). They have plain ones and the Honey Nut Cheerios. Pick the plain ones for your kid. My daughter is 14 months and we started giving her the Honey Nut Cheerios (i.e. out of my husband's beloved breakfast inventory).

Nine months... I started out with Cheerios as soon as my kid's pincer grip got better. Teething biscuits, cut-up toast (not so hard though), soft fruit chunks, etc. that the babies can gum (not chew as they don't have the molars) and swallow properly.

thanks mamaB....i was thinking of starting my son on something different....he is eating the ecobaby cereal..just thought that it is too smooth...sometimes i add chunks of bananas....thought of giving him other varieties.....by the way, do you give cheerios with milk?

I give my 10 month old rice crackers - the organic one I buy from Park n
Shop. She loves it. And it melts in the mouth and she is able to hold on to
it. Anyone know if it's okay to give blueberries and grapes (sliced and
peeled)?

i heard about people giving blueberries but not too sure about grapes though....
