Exeter is right. The ladies that assist Michelle are not really there to get down to their knees to play with the kids. During the first 30 mins free play it is the parent or the helper that actively participate with the kid. The ladies are there to help you when needed. PJ is different from My Gym. My Gym is on a more active side a bit more physical. PJ is a bit more mellow. You know what, it's all up to the kid what he/she likes. My daughter is very active but she loves PJ (especially Michelle's panda puppet). Give it a shot. These play groups are different among themselves you and your kid have to try it to give it a fair judge.

It's the one in the Lippo Centre, Admiralty.
Agree with others - the instructors/supervisors are very dull and don't seem interested in the kids. They are more interested in chatting to each other or moms. My kids didn't really enjoy it there and for the $$, I didn't either!

Michelle is the woman who owns and runs PJ. She's the leader and the personality behind PJ. I don't think that her two helpers are meant to get down and play with the kids. They're charged with cleaning and disinfecting as we go along the program, and they are nice enough. Although I did notice that they're making more of an effort lately to talk to the kids and moms. I personally don't care. I'm there to play with my kids , have them play with all the cool toys and other kids, and talk with the other moms. One of my little guys didn't like it at first, but once he became familiar with PJ, he really got into it. Yes, it's a bit expensive, but not more so than Gymboree.
My boys both prefer My Gym, but it's nice to have variety.
