Just to let you know - Sham Shui Po is not a very nice place. Before going there - try Fa Yuen Street in Mong Kok first - it's very cheap and is nicer.
Also try stores like HipoFant, ChickeeDuck, etc. They're reasonably priced and are often on sale.

The clothes in Sham Shui Po may be cheap but have you considered
what type of materials they are made of? Is their fire hazard high or low?
They are all probably synethetic meaning they are high fire hazards. Better
buy from a shop where it clearly states what materials the clothes are
made off. ie, 100% cotton or whatever.

what about clothes for kids a bit older, around 10 years old?

You can buy reasonable quality baby and children's clothes relatively cheaply at Stanley markets.
Also, you can buy cheap baby and children's clothing in the alleys in Central and Soho eg the markets in Pottinger St etc.

Good point Hope about making sure clothes fit. Some of the stuff that ends up in the markets simply has the wrong label on. My 8-month-old is still wearing one 0-3 month outfit from the market! I would suggest measuring your child's clothes at home first - many shops have tape measures but it might be easier to take your own.

Right now where ever you go there is sales and you will love it but in case you don't have the time you must go to stanley market.
When I first moved here I bought so many things from shops and spend so much money, then we moved to Stanley and that's when I went relly crazy. Cheap and nice things, most of them are 100% cotton which is always good.
Check it out you'll like it!
