Has anyone tried this and had success? I'm in my 2nd week on the program and seem to be eating more than ever before to ensure I reach my points each day. Worried I'll put on weight, not shed it.

It all depends on how many calories you consume and how many you use up.

I'm still breastfeeding my second child. When she was 6 weeks old, I started watching what I ate. I tried to eat between 1,500 and 1,800 calories daily. For my weight, the daily recommended for losing weight is 1,200 and then you need an extra 300 at least for the breast-feeding. I exercised 3 days per week (walking, weights) and lost 6kgs in about 10 weeks, which I believe is a safe rate of loss. I'm now lighter than ever before and have a BMI of 21 (ideal).

I believe that b/feeding really helped me to lose the weight quickly BUT that the weight loss was due also to eating less and exercising more (all very boring I'm afraid!).

Don't believe people who say you have to eat alot when feeding - that's crap!!! You only need to eat an extra 300 calories - which is only an extra cheese sandwich (not a lot). If you eat too much, you will end up like me after my first child - GAINING 6KGS in 6 WEEKS!!

Best of luck. It all seems so difficult in the beginning but you will get there!

Yasmin, I checked the Weight Watchers website and they don't have a website for Singapore (http://www.weightwatchers.com/international.aspx) . That does not mean they don't have meetings there. Perhaps try the phone book?? (sorry not very helpful). Alternatively, you can do Weight Watchers' "At Home" program. Here is the info from the Hong Kong site (http://www.weightwatchers.com.hk/WWI_Wrapper.aspx?SiteId=20&Page=1023412). I hope this helps. Good luck!
