Are there any?
Im thinking of moving to DB and wondered if there are many singletons around or is it just married couples?

In reality, the singles in DB are pretty rare, and they do keep to themselves a LOT.
I am a single guy, and mostly i get over to Central to meet others and live socially.
Otherwise if you dont have a labrador, 3 kids and a maid or 2 you stick out like an ashtray on a motorbike....
Having said that, there's great ountain biking and hiking just behind you, and the peace and quiet is pretty nice after work.
