We just hit our 7 year qualification period for permanent residency, can anyone advise how you actually go about getting it. I've had a look on the immigration website but seems to be about million forms.....thks in advance :)

Best way is to go and visit the immigration department. They're quite helpful. (Applying for permanent residency is easy. Sometimes when you renew your work visa, and you're qualified for permanent residency they will tell you you can apply for it, and right there and then you can ask them how it's done.)
