i'm currently living in shenzhen and am in need of highlights. i've been trying to wait to get my hair colored on trips home to the states, but i won't be going home any time soon and my roots are getting bad. judging by the hairstyles i see here in the mainland, i'll be making the trek to hong kong for my cut/color.


can anyone recommend a good colorist for natural looking blonde highlights? i have a friend who goes to toni and guy but says for $2000 the quality isn't that great. i'd like to find someone in the $1200 to $1500 range, but am willing to go up a little if there is really that much of a noticeable difference in quality.


i also have wavy to curly hair, so somewhere with stylists who do well with that would be a huge plus.

I am very happy to recommend our great stylist Herbert. He is an expert with blonde tones and has a lot of experience with curly hair. Half head highlights cost HK$900 and a whole head is HK$1300.

This is a common problem we com across often from people living in sz, gz and macau. We see many people from these regions for the exact same reason.


As you have curly hair it is important to find someone who is used to dealing with that hari type and even in HK this can be a bit of a problem.


I would like to recomend one of our stylists David Clark who is excelent with both color and curls (having curly hair himself). David has over 15 years experience and I think wil be a great choice for you to try. He can be contacted at 29730512.
