For the sole purpose of personal entertainment, used in home or in office for staff's leisure. Won't use real cash, winnings will not be exchangeable for any kind of rewards.

Am i allowed to import a slot machine from the US? Thanks :)

What exactly are you worried about? If you are not using real money then this is not gambling, plus you could save yourself a lot of money by using fake slots machines which don't have the high level encryption and so forth that real ones would have (presumably disabled for your use in Hong Kong).

There may be issues regarding exporting them from the US but I doubt that the encryption technology used in slot machines would be of a sensitive nature pertaining to national security.

Well am mostly worried about the customs, whether i need some kind of permit/ license or do i need some document to prove it won't be for gambling.

From the US side i believe there shouldn't be any problem, am buying a 25 year old mechanical slot machine (not the ones with digital screen like Macau).

For customs purposes you may want to label it "Toy Slot Machine" just to avoid any questions, but there is no law in HK that would explicitly prevent the import of slot machines (just like playing cards, roulette wheels, etc.). But if they see it at customs you may get questions about intended use and so forth if it looks like the only purpose of the item would be an illegal one (i.e. gambling).
