Hi, I am hoping if someone can recommend a tax specialist in Hong Kong who has experience working with expats. I am American and married to a British this year. We are looking to better understand the tax implications as a married couple and suggestions/ideas to manage our tax obligations effectively.
Thanks for your help in advance!!

When I first moved to HK, I used Deloitte and Touche for my US taxes. The service quality was very poor. (the next year I did everything myself spending a quarter of the time I wasted with Deloitte.) I do not think there are many qualified US tax accountants here in HK.
My recommendation is to hire an experienced tax account in the US, i.e. get a recommendation from friends and family in the States.

I suggest you get some professional advice : there is a way of legally avoiding double tax AND minimizing your tax. You should seek professional advice: Weir & Associates is one such experienced firm, experienced in international tax matters and with lawyers and consultants/advisors from various other jurisdictions including Hong Kong and the USA.
You may wish to contact them for a preliminary indication of your position and your rights. Their website : www.WeirandAssociates.com; email : WeirLaw@WeirandAssociates.com
