My wife will need to wrap a small gift at some point over the next few days and we have exhausted our supplies of grown-up-looking wrapping paper and ribbon.
We'd stocked up several years back at, I believe, a Hallmark shop here in HK. We stopped in at a couple today only to find that their stock is comprised mostly of stuffed animals (mostly bears) with small amounts of cartoon and Precious-Moments-y wrapping paper, adhesive bows, and little to no ribbon.
Does anyone know where to get normal gift-wrapping supplies here in HK?
Thanks in advance!

I suggest taking a ride to Sham Shui Po. "Bead Street" has lots of shops with ribbons. For the wrapping paper I'm drawing a blank.

Thanks. I should've thanked you sooner but haven't been around.
We haven't made it out to SSP yet, but I was able to get wrapping paper and ribbon in the IFC branch of Papyrus. Most of the wrapping paper was terribly ugly, but I found a couple of rolls of plain iridescent green paper that I thought looked nice and bought one, along with a roll of dark green ribbon.
Just tonight, I saw that the Dymocks in IFC has set out a few boxes of wrapping paper, including a few rolls that my wife liked, near the cashier on the children's books side of the shop. Didn't see any ribbon there, however.

I know a girl who designs her own wrapping paper . She has may different designs,
cupcake wrapping paper, tea pot wrapping paper and floral wrapping paper.
You can order and she can post to you in Hong Kong .
