Does anyone in HK offer installation of a good quality (i.e. 3M brand) "anti-UV film" for large apartment windows? I saw a flyer last summer, but didn't think to hold on to it...so, I know someone out there offers this service.

Thanks! no, was not aware of that...all I know is that I got rid of a sofa because it got bleaced out from the sun (does that mean I don't have the standard window glass?,) and I just spent a lot of money on a new sofa...don't want the same thing to happen twice. Was hoping anti-UV film would prevent that...yes/no?

Finally got in to the web site-on first try yesterday, couldn't get into HK web site, only the US.
Also just found out Cobel Co. in HK does installation: 2877-0880.
I think/hope some protection will be better than no protection. Still have to weigh the cost factor.

Re the fading, I am trying to find something for store windows to stop the mannequins clothing from fading and I'm sorry FOTH is right, the tinting won't stop the fading, which is caused by the heat. Can you close your curtains / blinds during the day?
Also some colours: purple and blue, are much more liable to fading than others and solid colours will show it more. Sounds like you have alrady bought the new couch though.
