I can recommend Dr Ou. She has been fantastic with both my children and was there for birth of my daughter. She's very friendly, approachable and explains everything clearly. She's also great with injections, having a real knack of distracting the child so they don't take any notice of the needle.

Dr Tanpa Thondup is very good. He has got 2 clinics in Wanchai and Repulse Bay. Call 2877 3118 (Room 304 Shui On Centre). His price is quite reasonable.
You should ask your Obstetrician for recommendation as they always work as a team. For example, Dr Lucy Lord will only recommend Dr Rulin Fuong or Dr Yvonne Ou as they work in the same clinic.

Dr Ou was good...but she did not cure my daughter quick enough.
I find Dr Thondup reassuring, friendly & matter of fact but good. I would recommend him too :)

Paediatricians are required to be at a normal deliver only if there are any emergencies, concerns for the baby, or when instruments such as forceps are used to aid delivery. We do require a paediatrician to be present at all caesarian sections. If the Paediatrician is not present the obstetrician takes responsibility for the baby and mum.
They visit daily postnatally and usually have a flat rate but fees vary and you would be best to confirm with them directly.
