Some doctors recommend a muscle relaxant (or antidepressant) like Cerapax, it can help take the edge off your nerves and give you a good sleep without the terrible sleeping pill hangover. Again you need to speak to a doctor for a prescription.

you can buy a sedative from Chinese Pharmacies called SLEEPSOFT which contains melatonin. Many people have sleeping problems, hence the availability over the counter, no need for a prescription

I get some blue gels which are legitimate over the counter drugs from Watsons/Mannings, not sure of name, and they don't knock me out blank... but definitely help. Ask the pharmacist for their best over the counter sleeping tabs.

Try Zopiclone (the drug) in Inovane. I sware by it as I cannot sleep on flights for love nor money. In the UK you need a prescription but here it is $120 a pack (at my chemist in Sai Kung). However it will knock you out cold and leave you with slight memory loss (for the 30 mins before you are out) and a bitter after taster the next morning.

Try it before hand, take two at home and wait ...
