Does anyone outthere have any clue on this, it is kind of annoying especially when you are having sex with your husband.
Is there any pills or stuff I could take to prevent this. I have consultated my doctor a month ago, he told me its probably due to my period, but I am almost 35 years now, and I've never experience this before ...please help

Doubt I have any infection, discharge is normal, no itch...
Infact I was tracking about of what I've ate, the only thing that I found suspicious was the Chinese herbs that I took, they say is good for women especially after period.
googoo, you were saying that it caused by some food we eat, or perhaps is there anything i could eat to make it 'smell' better?:)

hm... i experienced something similar to bad odor but that was only during my period. because i was using pads... when i went to my ob/gyn, he recommended me this new product... i forgot the name... anyway... that helped me during my period. coz it's a lot cleaner and i can have sex with my husband when i am on my period now. no smell!
i think u might be eating something or not exercising enough... let me know how it goes!

hey i have a friend who had the same problem. she used tampons and pads also. i think the bacteria built up when she was wearing pads... which led to infections. thats what her doctor said anyway. her doctor recommended her to use the softcup or something. coincidentally, i am trying to get pregnant and i am using it to help trap my husband's "goodies" after our "workout". anyway. she says that there is no odor at all during her period when she uses it. i ordered a box online... but does anyone know where to buy them in hong kong?

I presume that the 'softcup' in question is very similar to a diva cup.

This cup is used instead of a tampon or pad, is reusable and environmentally friendly. I've not yet ordered one, but given the rave reviews I've heard from other women I may just make the change. Especially given the lack of tampons here in HK!

you can buy softcup at watsons!!! i was on facebook and saw a fanpage for instead softcup or a group page or something... and it directed me to their website... so i watched the videos and found out also that they are available in watsons. www.softcup-asia.com - it's also environmentally friendly but is disposable...
kim., i know what u mean about the tampon shortage!!! i dont use tampons anymore but compared to the states, or the uk, it's like hk has hardly any choice!!!!

It is great to hear from the perspective view of a Chinese Medicine Practitioner, this is my story, I was having this chinese herbs that I got from Mannings" Pak Fung Yuen' is suppose to be good for women expecially after the period. It was ok for the first month, heavy flow ofcourse blood clumps occasionally. On the second month, I went to my gynae for injection, (the ovary tube cancer thingy), and thats what happened after that, my period lasted for like almost 2 weeks, ofcourse heavy flow on the first 1 week, which is very rare for me,( my period always lasted for like 4 days), and the other week was like having pinky or sometimes brown discharge...and that how the odours came in till now...

I have that before when I was pregnant then after 3 months i lost my baby. Then i started to go to one of the herbal doctor in causeway bay. If you know time squre right infront of the big clock the office of that doctor is there. She help me a lot though. My daughter is now 10 yrs old & after drinking some of her herbal medicine i even got my baby boy who is now 6 months old.
