There are loads of American TV shows being broadcasted in HK, on both local and pay TV stations. Some current seasons, some very old.

Check the left side bar of our What's On section - it has links to TV channels and guides. From what I can see 90% of the English - language programming is from the US

Hey Harley, if you've missed the start of Desperate Housewives on Pearl, Star World are about to start showing it. Lost is also broadcasted on AXN (channel 22 I think) on Cable TV.

Hey Hayley, to reply to another question you asked, TV was my main concern when I got here, still french but love american shows!
You have Oprah everyday from monday to friday at 9am and 1pm ( different show) ( I love Oprah) you have Desperate Housewifes on Pearl thursday at 10:35pm, LOST just started last week on monday night 10:30 on Pearl and you have friends everynight at 7:30pm and 11:30pm ( same show)on starworld, Frasier, Yes Dear, The Apprentice thursday at 10pm on star world, Simple Life was on finishes this week. Arrested development on thursday too on star world... anyway you have a lot! you won't be bored you can get the TV programs every sunday with Sunday south morning china, and you can find them on this xpat website too!!!!!

Starworld is an english Channel in Hong Kong, it's almost everywhere so you should have it! It might be satellite... but everyone I know has it for free!

btw., does anyone know how long 'Lost' on Pearl goes on for? I watched the 1st & 2nd (Sun & Mon) episodes, and know it'll be on again next Mon...
