Can anyone suggest a good one? My daughter is 21 months old but is still on nappy. Tried several kinds of cream but did not work well. Thank you.

Try Barrier Cream from Aromababy. My baby is 4 months now and was never even a little red so far. I use a little for every nappy change.

You can alThere is also a natural remedy that works wonders = put about a cup of quick oats in a stocking foot, and put it in the bath water - the water will go clouddy and keep baby in for about 10mins minimum - the nappy rash will disappear.
Desitin is EXCELLENT as well. I think mannings stock it.

tks everyone. think wl try desitin as a start and see if it works. Shuld be in the baby care corner at park'nshop then, I suppose.

Desitin was recommended by our antenatal class's midwives. It goes for about HK$35 per four ounces at PnS, although there was one shop in Windsor House 4/F that offered buy one get one free (with a VIP card).

I second Sudocream, my son had really bad nappy rash and it was gone completly in 2 days!

2 days is too long - I do advise you to try the oats in the bath - it will be gone by the morning - true! (and is very cheap and has no chemicals in it)

If it can be cured by 2 days, then that wl be a miracle to me.
Anyway, thank you all.

Sudocrem was the only one that worked for us when our eldest had a really severe case of nappy rash. We always have some indoors and use it for bites, grazes, sunburn and my son's mild eczema.

Hi guys, I tried the oat bath which worked wonderfully and the rash and itchness almost all went the first night. Use the destitin to 'back it up' and that worked as well. THANK YOU ALL.

Great to hear - now you have a happy baby!

nothing will be best is to keep your baby skin clean and dry than applying any cream for your baby.
Please support our advertisers:
do you need to rinse off the oat bath?
