You are out of luck with the regular season however in the past Cable TV has had playoff packages with loads of games...

Might be able to find a torrent for download. I see last nights Vancouver/Phoenix game is available, but so far can't find the Leafs losing to the Sens:) Yeah, I know it's not as good as watching live, but then again I'm at work so I'd have to tape the game anyway. You can also catch video highlights at tsn.ca and thescore.ca. etc.
Comcast/OLN (yes the outdoor life network??) purchased US NHL rights recently. They are offering free (for limited time) streaming video of games but only to Comcast customers:( Link for details is at http://www.comcast.net/sports/vito/
Ed mentioned that Cable TV had playoff games last year. Not sure if they will show games this year as I doubt many Asian providers pick up OLN. NBC does have the rights to the last 5 games of the finals so maybe they'll be on TV.

NHL Centre Ice Online now shows 40 games a week online to subscribers for 149USD, but only available in Canada and US. No doubt one reason for this is due to international television contracts, but as we know, there are no games televised in Asia. The NHL is missing an opportunity to sell games online to those that cannot see the game any other way, well except torrents and slingbox. If you are interested in NHL Centre Ice Online, go to nhl.com, select "feedback" located at the bottom of the page, then select "contact us" and let them know you want NHL Centre Ice Online available in Asia.

I have a slingbox... attach to a cable/satellite provider in home country and the computer and stream it to yourself here and watch on your computer or cable out to your tv... check out www.slingmedia.com

hmmm,
I've got a slingbox too, it's great, and the PC is connected to a TV. However, can't get the Centre Ice package where the hardware is located, so I'm stuck watching too many Leafs games on CBC.

www.nhl.com has live radio broadcast of every single regular season and playoff game, and will post video highlights of each game by about 6-8 hrs later (around 4-5pm in HK). For those who, like me, must get a Grapes fix, some kind soul in Canada is posting every Coach's Corner on youtube- just do a search for "coach's corner" and sort by date.

Response received from nhl.com:
"We are working on getting NHL Center Ice Online outside the US and Canada for next season.
Thanks,
NHL Center Ice"
timklip,
They'll be golfing in Toronto soon:)
Still jet-lagged and falling asleep watching games. Habs and Bruis in town next week, and playoff tickets go on sale Saturday. Sure feels like hockey season today, -25C windchill but forecast is +16 Thursday.
