Guangzhou Grace Academy/Guangzhou Nanhu Intnl School

Does anyone know about these schools? Any comments? Thanks.

I thought Christianity is not permitted in China, so I was surprised that there is a Christian school in GZ. I could not access their website, seems the page has been block, so have no details about them. Is is taught by foreign teachers, how long have Grace been in GZ? Approx how many student there? Since they share school with the Chinese school, does Grace's student actually have their classes with the Chinese locals as well?


Checked out the Nanhu as well, seem they are more British curriculum. It seems like a very small school and very new as well. There was no indication that they are sharing school with the Chinese - they have boarding facility but is there a market for that in China? That is scary that all the teachers quit in the first year!!


I read your previous posts about your children's schooling. Very interesting that that can be an option. I have contact Ontario Board of Ed to find out if we can have access to the online courses as well. BTW, is the sides.ca paid by Canadian government? Also as citizen living outisde of Canada, would we loose our priviledges for being away?

Thank you Ruth. I am waiting to hear back from the Ont Board of Ed. I forgotten, yes I do remember that if one is out of the country for more than 90 days will lose the provincial health benefits. I will also check what else we will lose...lol, but I expect the citizenship will stay forever, right? We have Canadian passports.
