Visa for American

My name is Aditya and I Really had some questions relating to a work visa and I will forever be grateful if you guys help me out with this . I've already got a student visa and will stay in HK for 4 years and my girlfriend who is American and holds an American visa wants to move to Hong Kong with me on a work visa . She is currently a tattoo artist/bartender and is 21 years old .

So if she comes there as a tourist , will finding a job be easy and then converting her tourist visa to work visa ?

Or should she come on the tourist visa and keep renewing it via Macau for 4 years ?

Not sure if finding a job as tattoo artist/bartender is easy in HK. But getting a work visa might be difficult. She needs to find an employer willing to "sponsor" for her (i.e. A company willing to hire her and apply for a work visa for her because it can't find somebody in HK with her skills).


On the 2nd question as to whether she can do a Macau/China run whenever her tourist visa comes up, the immigration officers will definitely see what she's doing and might not allow her to come in after a few times (no definite timeframe there).


What she may be able to do is try to find work in Macau and you two can be together during weekends? (Complicated!) I don't know about Macau working visas..., but since there are a lot of new Casinos/Hotels, she may be able to find a bartending gig in there.
