My long distance boyfriend won't travel with me during the Chinese new year. I don't want to see my relatives & family for the public holiday as they would ask when I will get married. I think I will never because all Western men seem to just want holiday romance. So where can I go for the public holidays? Is it odd to go to Thailand alone?? Where should I hide myself? It is stressful to be unmarried in HK! Any suggestions for single people? Should I just find a random guy & travel somewhere? But it'll be a holiday romance only! Where can u meet guys who wants to settle down if it is full of women in my firm?

I'm a single guy and last year I travelled alone to Angkor Wat and Saigon. On my journey I met 3 women who were travelling alone. Of course it is usually better and safer to have a partner. But if that's just not in the cards, then you should go for it. You never know, a holiday romance, or even just a harmless flirtation could become the real deal. This year I will again be travelling alone to Hanoi, and Hoi An. Would I like to have a travelling companion? Of course! Either way seeing some place new, taking the time to indulge yourself, certainly beats just staying at home!

I share the unmarried woman's feeling in earlier post. I am a separated woman in my 50's. Still active and have a full working schedule. I own my own online business so I can have my own schedule. I miss the travelling with my ex. and my son. I want to see the autumn leaves in Korea in Nov. which is the best month to see it but I can't find a travelling partner. All the Chinese friends I have either have families or can't decide. I lived in the US for 8 years before coming back to HK two years ago.
I wish to find a partner who is not too talkative, open minded with good manner a. Ladies over 30 would be great. We can share the fun and the expenses.
