Hi Helene,

roughly in same situation than yours: will be going there in may.

about french TV, you might get TV5. but if you know it, it has some good (few) and some bad (... enough ...).

About cable TV, i do not know much on interntional's. But i've been enquiring about CANAL Sat (here in Greece, we all have it), and it seems it won't be possible to get it there as we'll be on the asian satellite. tough luck!

if you get any way to get a Fench cable, please let me know.

ciao

Hi there.

As said previously, only TV5 (free to air on asiasat 3S) or on the cable only (not Now Broadband).

(Lounis). I wonder how your friend can get them in China. As I need to move my dish, I do not mind to connect to another sat. If you know, would you please be kind enough to let us know ?

well for me I am quite pleased with TV5.. there are good programs.. just which that there could be more programs for kids but well...

besides it is the first time that I have access to a French channel after so many years abroad so I really won't complain....and I have it for free on top of that!

Agree, TV5 is OK for the use we do. News, few shows (Envoye Special or similar), maybe too many Questions pour un Champion !

Unfortunately, they removed a year ago Ca se discute which was very.

After so many years overseas, you are ready to watch anything with little interest ! Too bad, the french movie selection is quite poor, only old or not famous movies. (on the other hand we do not know what are thee good movies in France anyway as they are not released in HK usually).

Last think, for kiddies, I suggest Disney Channel on NOW. Our kids love it and we are safe when the watch it alone. (No risk of adults things when the cartoon is over !)
