credit card-- disney and ocean park

I have guests arriving and will take their kids to disneyland and ocean park. Want to know if major credit cards (inc AMEX) are accepted in both (buying tickets and food inside)??

No info in their websites. tried calling but was put on hold for a long time..Disney number for tickets, call failed, couldn't get through

For Disneyland (quoted from site) :

Banking

Cash dispensing machines (ATMs) are located inside City Hall in Town Square at Main Street, U.S.A


Currency Exchange

Both Hong Kong Dollars and Renminbi payment are accepted on purchases at most Hong Kong Disneyland shops and restaurants. Foreign currencies and travelers checks can be exchanged for Hong Kong dollars at Guest Relations inside City Hall in Town Square at Main Street, U.S.A.


Credit Cards / Debit Cards

Cash (HK, RMB), Visa, American Express, MasterCard, JCB and CUP card are accepted for all purchases. Visa is a proud sponsor of the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort.


For Ocean Park you can pay for your tickets with a major credit card.


I would advise you, of course, to bring some cash for buying foods as some of them are more like self order booths. For the restaurants yes they do accept major credit cards. Same goes for Disneyland.

So I would assume plastic is accepted at the ticket counters in Tung Chung too. My friends are the ones going and they'd rather use their credit cards in paying for their tickets.

At Ocean Park you can use credit cards for purchasing admission tickets and for the restaurants, but not for the food kiosks. Hope this helps.
