I have just been looking for one too.
Mother Care has specifically designed nursing chairs avaialable in their catalogue. There are no display models for you to try though.
Instead I took the advice from a guidebook that specified a straight backed, comfortable chair with the ability to rest both feet on the floor and bought a 'normal' chair that fitted the bill.
Have yet to give birth, so can't, let you know if this was the right way or not to go yet, but at the very least I have a comfy chair I suppose!

i was really shocked at how much the gliders cost, there was no way i was shelling out $6000 for a chair. so when i was heavily pregnant, i waddled over to ikea and tried out their various models. the most comfortable one was in fact one of the cheapest, cost me $800 inclusive of a nicer cover. it's the one which has a wooden frame, low arm supports (so you can still use a nursing pillow) and rocks about gently when you nudge it. i also bought a foot rest there to prop up my feet @ $190.
as the first few weeks of b/f are so intense, i spent alot of time in that chair inside my bedroom. but then i got so bored just sitting there alone (there's only so much you can say to half-asleep baby for up to 5-6 hrs a day), so now i nurse from the sofa in the living room so at least i can watch some tv.
