leather jacket mould cleaning

my nice leather has gone mouldy. Anybod know of a good place where they specialise in this? I have heard it takes 4 months in the UK. That would be fine with me as need a place to store.

I sent my leather jacket to Hang Lung Hakuyosha Clean Living. They cleaned the mould and are storing it for $70 per month. They have shops / counters all over HK.

No it's not brand, but nice idea, RC. Thanks NAC, just 4 months to I'll need it again so I could stomach 70pm

That's a good point. I heard that in the UK the service actually kills the mould over a 4 month period (slow death) and that it never returns. I am not sure how this differs to the cleaning suggestion posted above

Jeeves will help you. I think they also do something that helps sterize the mould. You can ask for thier manager who I know has done a course in Italy on looking after leather!

OK, thanks all...Just to round this up, Jeeves say they do leather Jacket cleaning inc Mould removal for 780HKD and it takes three weeks.


If it really does kill the mould permanently then it's probably worth it and I guess there's only one way to found it
