Hi everyone!
I was just wondering if anyone knows of any fire regulations for privately rented flats. I can find some stuff online about means of escape and construction. But does anyone know of any rules about fire extinguishers, alarms, fire blankets etc.? Is there anything saying they need to provide them for flats?

I'm pretty sure there are no regulations on private flat rentals except as applies to the building as a whole.
Regulations would only apply to guest houses and hotels.
We bought a fire blanket and a small extinguisher from, I think, a shop in wan chai. Can't remember the name though
