food storage containers - where to buy

hi does anyone know where I can buy containers that can be filled with food, frozen and put in the microwave to be reheated? ideally some with different containers maybe? anyone know of anywhere? thanks!

Ikea actually has a good selection at a good price - I think they are called 360, they have white bodies and clear lids with maroon rims.


There are cheaper ones at the Japan Home Stores, but not as nice.


And more expensive ones at other shops.

thanks - looking for as cheap as possible - as will be selling these with frozen lunches...will try JP home stores....any other ideas - even a wholesales would be good?

For that, you should do wholesale or at least bulk.


But realise that some studies have shown it is not good to microwave food in plastic containers, so you might want to go really cheap (like what take away comes in) and tell your customers to pop it out of that container and microwave it on a glass plate/bowl.


Alternatively, you could do a 'deposit' scheme with nice containers. In other words, customer pays an extra HKD 50 deposit the first time per container, and when you deliver the next batch, you take back the old containers to wash, steralise and reuse, etc... If they don't order more, they return the container to get their deposit back.
