Other than IKEA or pricerite chain furniture shops, is there any cheap and decent furniture shop (or area) around Hong Kong?

There are several store in Horizon Plaza, most of the well known stores are on the pricey side but there are a couple of less expensive options.

For a convenience and affordability, it's worth checking out DSL Furniture. They have a good selection of home contemporary furniture at good prices.

If you feel adventurous, you can always take a trip up to Shenzhen. There are several malls dedicated to furniture. I am not familiar with all the areas but along Zhanyi Rd next to Hongling North is a good area with several malls to check out.

You can always find some good deals on the asiaxpat classifieds section.
