Few questions...

Looking to install some ceiling fans in my flat for those days that is hot but don't really need air conditions.

1. Anyone know where I can get a good selections of ceiling fans of all price ranges. I don't want top of the line brand but something that is reasonable and is quiet.

2. Does the electricity output effect the type of fan you buy. Ex..if my living room light can only hold a max 60W bulb will that have an effect if I decide to buy a ceiling fan that has 4 lights?

Thanks

I have 3 of them. The cheapest one in HK is Alan Engineering in North Point. It cost around $ 700 each (with no light) including set up (and I live in Sai Kung !!)

Info: http://home.netvigator.com/~alanenco/

Alan is very nice and can speak english ! I used them twice for 2 flats.

I think they are still closed until Friday as they are supposed to come to my place to fix the 3 of them but will only be on Friday !

My fan's lighting has 5 bulbs so I use Philips PLE-U bulbs (11W each)which is supposed to be 80% energy saving.

Te energy saving range, comes in 11W, 15W and above. For the 11W PLE-U bulb, it is equiv to a 60W illuminance of a normal bulb.

Since I used 4 of the PLE-U 11W, the total is only 55W.
