Has anyone recently investigated what are the Hybrid Car options available to car buyers in Hong Kong? Care to share with us what models are available - e.g. is it just the Toyota Prius for now? And what sort of prices are we talking about for a new car (or even second-hand)?

The Lexus RX400H is also a hybrid, that was the only other option that we found. Cannot remember how much it cost, but the waiting list was not bad. Since then, I've noticed an Alphard Hybrid on the school run, don't have a clue re. its cost though.

I asked about the upcoming Toyota Camry hybrid but was told it would not come to HK due to small market. But the Prius is here and plenty bigh enough for HK. Need to check price with Toyota but remember the government incentive (lower tax) kicks in next month I believe. That should bring price well below HK$200k
