Fair salary for a DH

im wondering what should be the fair salary for a dh ( 3 small kids, big house, cook meals everyday, babysitting at weekend nights, all household chores in short)

im confused because i heard from a friend that an employer is giving her dh 6000/month no day off!

I think you should follow the goverment minimum salary first HK$3920,and then if she live out(which is againts regulation) how much is her room,and the food allowence is (by goverment rule too) you give her,after you know the basice regulation then you can disided how much you will give her. If she have no day off then you have to pay extra (this is by goverment regulation. Babysiting is part,but if she live out then you need to see what is your agreement with her. I am domestic helper too and live in helper ( i work as live out helper too before and salary is HK$6000) and my Boss pay me HK$4500 with every Sunday off,so i earn more now then before. I am just giving advice to you because i think you are good person and good employer who willing to understand the burden of helper,i hope you dont mind and wishing you good luck. Thank you
