Hi,
Last year I renewed my UK passport through the British consulate in Admiralty. UK passports are not directly issued in HK and I know that the application went back to the UK for processing.
My question is this - When I fill out a form that requires the place of issue for my passport, do I write HK or UK?
Thanks
Chris

Look into the passport, there the place of issue is stated. It will be Hong Kong.....
At least in my passport it is that way, but perhaps the Germans are a bit different?

Just write 'IPS', (or whatever is says under 'authority' in your passport). I havent had it rejected yet.
